Besides my autobiography, I’ve written a lot of other books. Most are speculative fiction, but they span a range of genres from self-help to poetry. If you like my writing, check them out!
You can find and purchase all of them on Amazon. While I’m not a big fan of Bezos, I currently don’t have a better platform set up. I’ve included short summaries here, but more complete descriptions and blurbs are on Amazon.

In general I would say my work is broadly speculative fiction (fantasy/sci-fi) with a lot of influences from anime/gaming. I have always been fascinated by the way that art handles different means of expression – visual media tends to be highly kinetic in nature, a trait that I have tried to capture in my work on occasion. You read a book, but participate in a game because of input methods.
Coming from a multicultural/lingual background, I also see patterns and synchronicities between tropes and genres of all kinds, and I try my best to fuse them together into something new.
I could go on, but I don’t want to be overly academic and risk boring you. 🙂 So I’ll let my writing speak for itself.
I’m also passionately interested in mental health, which forms the basis for a lot of my writing. Compassion and understanding are very much needed in the world, and I try to do my best to elevate the state of consciousness in all ways possible (not just writing, but that’s the focus here)
The Books :
After the Fall and Other Stories
Collection of short stories, some related by theme and setting, some not. I’m highly influenced by Ursula K Le Guin and “pastoral sci-fi” like Yokohama Kakidashi Kikou, writing about gentler and kinder post-apocalyptic worlds.
Some of the works in this collection have been shortlisted for publication and have won competitions, for those who care about those things.
Orphans at Dawn and Other Stories
Much of the same, some of these have a humorous or more scientific slant. Inspirations include 2001 Nights, a manga that blends traditional high-scifi with comic book style (to my knowledge the only one of its kind)
Shadowveil Series
Urban fantasy in a contemporary setting. Conspiracies abound and demons have always walked in our midst. One man in thrust into a world beyond his comprehension – how will he survive?
Esper Wars
Psychically active individuals struggle to survive in a technologically advanced world that is similar to ours. An overarching conspiracy about the origin of their powers has them looking without and within for answers.
Witchwars (Witch’s First Steps)
The Order is an organization dedicated to protecting the Four Kingdoms from the threat of witches, which have laid them low in the distant past. Naturally, there is much more to it than that, as one of the Order’s recruits will slowly discover. Low fantasy, written to merge light novel tropes with fantasy ones.
Dating For Geeks
Exactly what it says on a tin. A book written with tongue firmly in cheek, but does give practical advice for dating-challenged geeks/nerds (which tend to have issues in this arena)
Shattered Dawn
Slightly Fist of the North Star inspired. A wanderer of the wastes goes in search for the mysteries to his past as he fights evil and rights wrong in a world after the bombs have fallen.
The Doors Beyond
Young adult oriented fantasy about a girl who can travel through dimensions, her robot and their quest to escape and defeat the mysterious Dark.
Edge Breakers
Tron meets cyperpunk. A young group of runners challenge the very limits of their world as the run in a phantom electrical world that exists parallel to theirs.
Full Metal Karma
Buddhist inspired cyberpunk. A mercenary who finds himself outcast and betrayed has to find unique methods to combat the growing darkness within him – and finds assistance in the unlikiest of places.
Guardians of the Gates
Worlds in which technology and magic meet and collide in all sorts of interesting ways.
Tenebris Lux
The city of Elysium has known only one dictum since forever – humans are meant to aid their guardians, the angels, in defending it from the demonic threat. Until one day a young Guardian is given cause to question that unceasing belief…
Poetry :
To Alice
Written about my last relationship. The person in question has given her blessing to publish it, so no ethical issues there.
To All the Women I’ve Loved
And there have been many. Each girl who’s touched my life in some significant way gets a poem.
Grief and other Strange People
Poetry I wrote as part of my therapy and healing journey.
Epistles From the Couch
Musings on the nature of psychotherapy and its process.
Reflections on the Great Big Thing
Poetry to and about God, however you might define the Divine/God/Tao/whatever.
I Love Cats (and companion volume)
I do love cats, so I wrote poetry about them!
Love, Meows and Purrs
The same.
Musings on a Red Dot
My country of origin is Singapore, though I don’t really see myself as a citizen of anywhere, really. Some thoughts regarding it.
